Vehicle Detail

1958 Chevrolet Biscayne Four Door Sedan. This a running, completely original, 1958 Chevrolet with a 283 cubic inch V8. It is a number matching 283 V8 with a power-glide transmission. The original owner's manual is in the glovebox and it has an original repair manual. After sitting for over numerous years, I have been able to get the Chev running and driving. I disconnected the gas tank and emptied out the old gas. I installed new spark plugs, changed the oil, filled the transmission, bled the brakes, and adapted a small gas tank. The 1958 Chev started right up and ran well. The transmission shifts and the car stops as it should. Overall the body and frame are in very good condition. It has all of the glass and the windows roll up and down and the doors align properly with the exception of the passenger's side rear window. It is stuck. The car has power steering and an original radio both of which work. On the negative side it has the following problem areas that will need attention. 1. There is rust in the passenger's side front floor and in the driver's side rear floor. The driver's side front floor is ok and the passenger's side rear floor is good. (I've taken close up photos of these problem areas.). 2. The car has sat for many years and has many of the problems created by sitting. For example, the carburetor floods due to bad gas that was in the lines and fuel pump. I can start the engine, but it is difficult to keep it running without flooding. The car comes with the proper carb rebuild kit. 3. There are parking lot scrapes along the doors, but no serious dents. 4. The gas tank is disconnected, but in good condition. 5. The driver's lower front seat is tattered and needs attention. (I've taken close up photos of this problem). If you have any questions, please give me a call. My home phone number is (801) 745-0599. I will gladly answer your questions completely and thoroughly. I highly value my 100% positive feedback score on Ebay and I want the new owner to be satisfied with the car. I have a clear title to the car. If you have less the 10 positive feedbacks on your Ebay feedback score please call or email me before bidding. I want this to be a good auction on an original 1958 Chevrolet. Good luck bidding.
