AUCTION FOR LOWER 48 STATES ONLY !!! A very nice '06 Suzuki S40 Boulevard Cruiser with only 5202 miles. Early models were known as LS650 Savages. This bike has been in production for many years. It is not a newcomer to the field. It has a 652cc single cylinder engine, 5 gears and belt drive. It is reminiscent of the old British bikes, only with modern seating and better looking too. Runs and looks very good. In fact it looks new all over other than where the exhaust near the cylinder head has yellowing from heat. Chrome is good, muffler is stock. Paint is beautiful. Photos do not do it justice. Clutch is like new. Carb has been modified from stock so bike will run correctly. Bike kept in my inclosed shop, not outdoors in the weather. Has original tool kit with brass drive belt tensioner tool. This bike weighs about 380 lbs. Has good tire treads, not weather cracked. Tires are 5 years old which is about replacement time for safety sake. I use one of the best motorcycle oils - Mobil 1 20w-50 V-Twin motorcycle specific oil. It tracks straight even with the handle bars turned loose. Solid no wobble, steady handeling. Corners easily. Starts quickly. Has an almost new sealed battery. It has a pigtail for ease of connecting a charger. On 9/23/2010, a motorcycle mechanic listened to the engine with his stethoscope and found no unusual sounds. It got a good report. A bystander commented about it being a new bike. It is not, but looks like it. This bike is in very good shape, you will take pride in it as I did and enjoy it. PayPal retainer of $500 required at end of auction. Remainder to be paid by US Postal Money Order. That is the only brand I will accept. Or, payment can be made by an official US bank certified check or can be paid in cash at pickup. Please do not work around these requirements. No personal checks etc at pickup. Bike will not be released if payment requirements are not met. If you prefer bike to be shipped all arrangements will be up to the buyer. I will help at this end where possible. This is a good motorcycle, no scratches, dents or dings. Runs good and looks new. You will not regret purchasing it. Sold as is where is. No return. Be sure you want it before bidding.
