1982 CJ7. I had this Jeep shipped from California after an engine rebuild to restore. With two toddlers and business travel this has just not happened and the Jeep sits in my garage waiting to be loved. Here is the good the bad and the ugly on this CJ:Good:In October 2006 the following work was completed (I have the receipt)- Oxygen sensor- Spark plugs - Engine gasket set (full)- Set engine piston rings- Set main bearings- Set connecting rod bearings- Set valve lifters- Replaced flywheel- Starter Assembly- Water Pump- Distributer Cap- Distributor Rotor- Thermostat replaced- 858 miles since these updates The Tub is in excellent condition and with no rust. The hood has no rust. Over all the main portion of the body is rust free.Comes with a bikini top and some extra brake lights Bad:It needs to have the transmission pan replaced which I have including the gasketStarter needs to be replacedBattery needs to be replacedStarted last summer but I have not run it since because of the starter and batteryNeeds power steering fluidFront fenders are bent but do not know the cause. They were like that when I got itOld seats removed except the drivers. All need to be replacedYou would need to register for a new title as my friend who sold it to me never took care of this and nor did ICarb needs to be adjusted or replaced. Up to youNo doors are hard top Ugly:No real ugly. When I got it she ran and I drove her a bit but then started taking her apart and ran out of time. At the end of the day she has a good motor that needs some accessory work and a strong rust free body that would be easily restored. Either rebuild her into a beauty or tear her apart for the tub and motor. Your choice. Very sad to see her go but time has run out. On Sep-29-10 at 15:00:26 PDT, seller added the following information:Ok, to answer some additional questions: Title - I do not have it and it has not been around for several years. The guy I bought it off did not have it titled in his name and I believe the last time it was titled and registered to the same person was in 2006/07 in CA. Please check with your DMV to order a new one as this varies by state. Gauges - All the gauges work except the fuel. The transmitter needs to replaced on it. It also has the clock and adjustable steering column option typically found in Renegades. Frame - This frame is as rust free as an 82 frame can be. It is pretty amazing! Thanks!
