Up for sale is a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with the legendary Cummins Turbo Diesel. I bought this pickup in March 2008. This is my second Cummins diesel, and it has been dead solid reliable. I have found that I simply don't drive it anymore. I recently had a smaller pickup given to me, and this one sits in the garage. Since it is a shame for a vehicle to sit, it's time for it to go. This four door 4x4 has a long list of standard features. Air conditioning, power seat, tilt, cruise, AM/FM/CD, power windows, power door locks, factory tow package...you get the idea. Everything works, the air is cold, the stereo is loud, and the 4x4 works great. This pickup drives good, stops straight, and shifts fine. The brake controller will stay. There is an Edge power programmer that will stay as well as the aFe Stage Two air intake. The silencer ring has also been removed so the turbo whistle is audible. There is an aftermarket remote start and remote door lock that works very well. The goose neck ball will remain as well. After 7 years, it has some bumps and bruises. There is some minor hail damage on the hood and roof. The bed has been used, but there is still no rust anywhere. The tires are about 40% and will have to be replaced sometime soon but I was going to wait until spring. The paint is still good but there is some spotting on the lower quarters from gravel. There is one small tear in the driver's seat which I have tried to get a picture of. I have the front floor mats but I need to clean them. I have replaced the water pump and both front wheel bearings. After I bought it I had the transmission flushed and the fluid changed with a new filter. I also had the radiator flushed with new coolant, and had the grease changed in the front and rear axles. The rear socket for the RV plug has been rewired as well. Serviced like clockwork with Rotella 15W-40 every 5,000 miles. Is it perfect? No. Is it something that I am the least bit afraid of? Absolutely not. I would drive this across the country in a heartbeat. It simply is not being used; this is the ONLY reason I am selling it. Cash is king, but I will take a bank draft as well. I will be happy to meet you at the Kansas City or Des Moines airport if you choose to fly in.
