1980 Honda CBX

This is a nice low mile bike. It's in great condition. This is being sold cause it just doesn't get ridden and somebody needs to enjoy it. The battery is charged up and it started up the first push of the starter button. The carbs have been redone by Tim's CBX a while back (Dynojet kit and K&N filters). It has a 6 into 2 exhaust that has been recently powder coated for cosmetic reasons. It has a fairly new O-ring chain. The Dunlop tires have less than 2K miles on them. It has a after-market seat and an after-market sport fairing.Bike shifts well up and down well, pulls well in all gears, and has that 6 cylinder sound and smoothness. Tail light lens is broken and needs replacement they are available (see pictures).On Sep-21-10 at 16:41:32 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: It has been pointed out that the speedo on this bike is a 1979 not a 1980. People out there probably know a lot more about these bikes than I do! When I got the title in 2002 it showed 7200 miles on the title. I think the guy that was the original owner kept the bike in the Southwest and just went down there and rode it around there and Colorado. I can't verify this so take it as you wish.
