Vehicle Detail
1973 Ford Mustang Mach1 Fastback for sale, runs and drives great. I have owned the car for over 2 years, I bought it from a family that has been in central Texas for a long time, they specialize in classic american cars. They have many auto & transmission shops in Austin. They also supplied all the Chevy Nova's for the action movie "Death Proof" , which was filmed in Austin. Since buying the car I have done the following: New front end suspension (kyb shocks, all bushings, etc) Fixed timing chain gasket and rear main seal ( was leaking a little oil which they informed me it would cause of sittin so long ) New front side pillars, sunshade visors, rear side pillars, headliner Custom exhaust done at fritz muffler shop in hays county New edelbrock 750 carb. It has the original 351 Clevland motor in it, which was rebuilt before I bought it, which was drove rarely for startups for a year and a half. Paint is ok the car was originally red, Now for the rust. Floor pans are showing deterioration not that bad, trunk pan needs replacing, there is mostly surface rust here and there, nothing a little POR-15 wont take care of, overall its a clean texas car. Any question call me at 512-618-0293 my name is Ben. When I bought it, she also came with a new gas tank and rear end. Rear shocks have some life left but I would replace them. And I also have the right to end the auction early if I get a buyer. If you need receits for what I have done their in the glovebox, I can take pictures if you need. I didnt drive this thing a whole lot but its perfect for the summer. The heater core will also need replacement, I have a new one just havent gotten around to installing it, so I will include that with the car. Some of the pics was when the car was dirty..... Anyway here you go
