In parts alone, not including tax, labor, shipping etc…. It would cost you a lot more to do it yourself. Condition of car: I am the second owner. It has about 64,000 original miles on it now. It was only a daily driver from 1996-2001. It’s always been a California car. The motor was replaced in 1999. There was nothing wrong with the car, I just wanted to build a 500+hp motor and figured I’d do it right and change everything. As you can see from the parts list, no expense was spared, I bought the best that was available. The old motor had about 36k miles on it, so the new motor only has about 30k miles on it. I got married, bought another daily commuter and the car sat in storage. Now, we have a new baby and my dreams of driving it again are pretty much over. In 1997, I got in a little fender bender (see photos) and I purposely left it to show how minor it was. The car was stored indoors most of the time. The paint is in good condition, but I cleaned up part of the fender so you can see how beautiful it can look with some wax. Air conditioning was removed for the sake of performance. Car comes with many extra parts. The flaws: Motor started blowing white smoke out the tailpipe. The car starts and runs, but blows out white smoke. The oil is still pure, there is no coolant in it, therefore I believe that it may just be an intake maifold gasket, a $15 part and about 2-3 hours of your time. If I fix it, I'm keeping it. That's why I have left it untouched for the new owner to do with it what they like. Dent in Passenger fender NADA GUIDE Rough Trade-In Average Trade-In Clean Trade-In Clean Retail Base Price $1,275 $1,975 $2,525 $3,875 Mileage - 63,971 miles $1,262 $1,262 $1,262 $1,262 TOTAL PRICE $2,537 $3,237 $3,787 $5,137* As you can clearly see, a totally stock 1994 Mustang GT with this mileage is worth $5137. Add to that the $22k to build it and you're at $27k. You can buy this car for peanuts in comparison. Hell, if you part it out (which I would hate to see), you can clear $10-12k easy. With a newborn around, I am in no condition to do this. The car is being sold AS-IS, with no warranties or gauranties, implied or expressed. The car cannot be driven home, it will need to be towed. It has a clear CA title. I will not ship the car, you will need to make arrangements. Payment: Cash ONLY!
