I bought the Pinto Wagon with 40,870 miles to restore it. The starter was the wrong size, I replaced it with a new Pinto starter. The flywheel ring gear was damaged, I have a new original Ford replacement but was not installed but included. The rake & pinion steering assy. was damaged by the same mechanic who installed the wrong starter and I replaced the entire rake & pinion assy (very hard to find 1973 unit) with a new unit. Still needs front end alignment. The Pinto came with new rear muffler and 4 new Sears tires. I installed a remanufactured Pinto 2.0 head on the engine with new gaskets, timing belt, etc. The cylinders were inspected and no wear/damage was observed. I also completely rebuilt the carb. The following parts are included: extra rear bumper used but straight; used wheel trim, & front blinker cover. Dash has small crack, driver's seat has common tear, driver's door hand needs to be repaired. The left rear quarter is dented and the rear lite is included. The coco mats are not included-their for my 1974 Wagon. I installed a new brown steering wheel from 74 Wagon, I have the original tan steering wheel, both cracked in the sun and are included. The Pinto starts right up, idles great and runs great. The Pinto was moved to from south New Jersey to Bayonne, New Jersey. Additional Info: The paint is original. The Pinto was garage kept by the original owner (old guy-got too old to drive) who hit a tree backing out of his driveway. There is no major rust, the floor pans are solid. There is surficial rust/spots on the body at the fenders/ bottoms, and most of the rust was treated. Alot more items were replaced (water pump, fan belt, thermostat, timing belt tensioner, cap, rotor, wires, pts, condenser, plugs, fuel lines, fuel filter, air filter, breather filter, oil/filter) . The original wiper blades are shot and there is no battery. The rubber brake hoses are original/37 years old (show signs of cracking) and I would not recommend driving Pinto any long distances, that's the reason I moved it by trailer.
