Vehicle Detail

Beautiful Jaguar S-Type Kept in excellent condition. As part of a full engine revamping to ensure reliability I recently had replaced by a certified Jaguar repair center all spark plugs, coils, cables, timing chain tensioner assemblies, oil pan gaskets, oil filter assembly, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket seal, oil pan drain plug, air mass meter assembly and other parts associated. Last year I had the air conditioner revamped and the sensors in the radiator and coolant system replaced. Unfortunately for me a week after the significant preventative maintenance the fuel pump went out. The certified Jag mechanic is confident the fuel pump is the problem, but I do not want to go through the expense of replacing it after having spent the money on the previous maintenance and since I was planning on selling it. I am selling it with the buyer knowing the need to replace the fuel pump. I can take it to the Jag repair shop to have the fuel pump replaced if the buyer wants me to, but it will be the buyer's responsibility to pay for the repair. - GPS system with California maps and multiple languages spoken that works great - Power sunroof - Power driver and passenger seats - Power tilt/telescoping steering wheel - Electrochromatic rear view mirror (automatically dims the mirror in bright light) - Two-driver seat/steering wheel memory - Traction control - Backup sensors - Automatic windshield wipers (it senses the rain and runs the wipers to a speed depending on the amount of rain coming down) - 6-Disc CD changer and cassette tape player - Radio controls on steering wheel - AM/FM radio - Sport drive and suspension button (love this feature) - If you hold the unlock lowers the windows automatically - Voice-controlled system (you can control things like change the radio to a specific station or the temp of the A/C by hitting a button on the steering wheel and talking to the system) - Hook-up for phone system (I never used this because I don't have a Jag phone) - Heated driver and passenger seats - Heated front windshield - Leather seats - Driving lamps - Power side mirrors - Remote trunk release - Security system - Electronic fuel, speed, and distance to empty in-dash system - 4-wheel disc brakes - 4-wheel ABS - Many more options that I am sure I am forgettin - Pass-Through Rear Seats - Power Door Locks - Premium aluminum wheels - Auto-off headlights - Auto-on headlights - Bucket seats - Dual-zone climate control (you and your passenger can have different temp settings) - Fog lamps - Performance tires - Garage door opener compartment - Premium wood upgrade There is a dual-climate control system and the AC works great. The driver and passenger have independent temp settings and there is a vent to control flow into the back seat as well. The stereo is great, with 6-disc CD changer, cassette player, and tons of presets for FM/AM. There are MANY speakers throughout the car and many options and settings available on the stereo. The seats are very comfortable with 12 adjustable controls (including lumbar) on both driver and passenger sides. The driver's side has two driver memory buttons so you can store two different steering wheel and seat settings. The speed-sensitive steering is great, as is the great sport setting that changes the steering, suspension and gear ratios to give you extra umph. The engine has great pep and can really get up there fast. At top speeds the car rides so smoothly that you can hardly tell you are going fast. The engine is a powerful 8-cylendar 4.0L that prior to the fuel pump issue ran great with the transmission running SMOOTH. This car runs great in easy traffic or has the power to burst through if someone is more aggressive driver. The registration is expired and the title is in Arizona. The exterior is in good shape aside from normal minor nicks that are only noticeable on close inspection. No dents or major scratches. The tires are in good shape and there is a full-sized spare with full matching rim in the trunk. The leather interior is in GREAT condition given the age of the car. The wood paneling has some cracks from temperature change (see photo). The cracks are superficial and the seams are not open. Everything seems to be in working order except the fuel pump issue. No guarantees to this as cars can sometimes be surprising, but I honestly feel there is no other issue. The car was previously a lease return that was completely reconditioned after by a Jag leasing specialist dealer. I have been EXTREMELY diligent with oil changes, never smoked in it, and it looks, smells and drives great (before the pump, of course). It has been a great car for me and I hate to give it up. Most of the miles came from smooth freeway driving between San Diego and Phoenix. I need to move away from a sedan to an SUV and so I am letting her go. Feel free to ask any questions.
