1991 Honda CRX SI in good running condition, has up to date Texas safety and license tags. I bought the car here on ebay and drove it from San Antonio ranging from 65 to 70 mph, on average I got about 42 mpg. Clutch is firm, transmission shifts smoothly in every gear. Engine iddles evenly without any knocking or lifter noise, does not smoke or overheat, even in our 100 degree weather, tires have about 90% tread. I was also told by the previous owner that the timing belt was changed within the last 20,000 miles. Now for its issues, the main one is that the radiator recently developed a small leak, appears to be coming from the top end of the radiator, it is not leaking antifreeze all over the place, but it does leak, the small glass above the tail lights needs to be replaced at the rear hatch, I don't think you will be able to replace the glass only, I believe the whole rear hatch would have to be replaced, the previous owner told me that the individual he bought it from backed into an object in his driveway and broke the glass and this why you see that nice looking duck tape in place of the glass. I have seen complete rear hatches here for about $180.00 shipped. Both seats are pretty worn and have tears, specially the driver's side, this is why you see seat covers in the pictures, there's a piece of the interior rear cargo cover missing, it does have a small oil leak, but it's so minor that I haven't had to add any oil since the last oil change. The body is in fair shape but it does have some minor cosmetic issues, the passenger's side fender is slighty bent near the door but it does not interfere with the door's function, the hood has scratches that I do not believe would buff out but the scratches are only visible once you get close to the car and it also has the common honda rearwell rust, more so on the driver's side, as seen in the pictures. The a/c system blows cold air for about five minutes then hot air, I believe the system is just low and needs to be recharged. I almost forgot to mention that one center cap is missing. This car is highly fuel efficient and very reliable, once the radiator leak is addressed, I would drive this car anywhere, then again, I guess you could still take a chance as long as you kept an eye on the antifreeze level while on the road. I have quite a few project cars that I would like to get to and this is the reason why I'm going to try to sell the car. I will work with any potential buyer to ship the car, as long as the shipping is arranged and paid for by the buyer and the car is picked up at its current location, I can also hold on to the car for up to a month as long as the car is fully paid for as per the auction's terms. Will require an immediate $500.00 deposit and the rest within seven days after the end of the auction, thanks.
