Barn Find 1964 Corvette Coupe for sale. This car has been stored since the 80s. The previous owner had it since 1976 put it in storage sometime in the 80s,got it out of storage in 2008,had the engine rebuilt and discovered the gas tank leaking. the engine was rebuilt then taken to someone else to do the tank and brakes. Apparently that didnt happen so he took it home and decided to sell it. I purchased the car put in a good used tank new sending unit and redid the brakes,new master,wheel cylinders,shoes and a couple lines. Runs drives and stops,just drove it around the neighborhood. The engine is not original but was in car when previous owner purchased it in 76. According to the casting nos.on block it is a 68 327. It has double hump heads casting no.3917291 date J20 7. It has an Offenhauser Port Sonic intake and dual feed Holley and original tach drive dist.. It has a 6500 redline tach which I was told came with 365 hp motors and it,speedo,and oil pressure gauge work. The rest of the gauges do not work. The lites and headlite doors dont work,turn signals do. It has power windows,right side goes down not up, left non op. Left vent window mech. non op. rt.ok. Seat uphol.,door panels front carpet not good back carpet not to bad, headliner and dash ok. Mileage 22315 is obviously 100k plus. This car is basicly all original except the engine,the frame and body are nice. The more I look at it it looks like it had some damage to the rt front. The worst thing on the body is the hood,seperation and cracks toward front. Ive tried to describe this car as good as I can but am sure Ive missed something,so feel free to ask questions.
