Vehicle Detail
This is my second time listing the El Camino on eBay and will be the last - so if you really want it, now's your chance. After this, I will sell it locally. This El Camino has been a well-loved work in progress; however, with the economy in such dire straits, money is needed more than the car. I will break down the advantages of the vehicle, as well as the work it will require: Features: IROC conversion body kit. Total conversion cost $3500. Motor and transmission are extremely powerful; both came out of a 1995 Caprice police car - this motor is LT1 and has 160K miles on it. While in 2006, I did hit a deer in the car, I received $3500 from my insurance claim; this was reinvested in the car. The El Camino has been a four year project and I hate to let it go, but necessities must be met. My asking price is half of what I have invested in the car. Ameriguard spray bedliner in good condition. 16" IROC wheels in decent condition. Automatic transmission with overdrive. Has 308 non-positrac rear end. Partially new interior - I was in the process of changing interior to black and have installed Camaro seats. The driver's side seat is electric. Work to be done: The car has not been inspected in four years because it has not been driven on a regular basis. The exhaust system will need to be hooked up prior to having the vehicle inspected. Air conditioning and speedometer need to be hooked up. Conversion for an electric speedometer is needed. A door panel is also needed to complete the conversion kit. I can connect the winning bidder with the distributor from whom I purchased the conversion kit. The car does have minor dings. A paint job is needed. Currently, the color of the car is a green etching primer to prevent rust. The car will start and runs great once started; however, the starter is weak. PLEASE, if you have any questions at all about the car, do not hesitate to contact me. I will gladly answer any questions regarding its condition.
