Thanks for viewing my 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air. I have owned since 07, it has the original 283-V8 which runs good. No leaks that I have found or blowby. It has a 2-barrel quadro-jet carb. It has an automatic powerglide trans. and it works good. The body is real solid and straight. It ain't new but the body is better than most non-show car originals i've seen in a long time. Only a couple minor rust places, particularly on the driver front fender down low, look at the photo and you can judge for yourself. The bodylines are flush and good. Bumpers are good and grill is good, i have headlight sorry for the pic without it. Glass is nice, all windows are free and not sticky. I have the stainless trim that runs down both sides of the body and it is in good shape, i will also take any photo you may need of the trim. It could use brightening up but not beat up. The roof edge's of the top of the car are in good condition, not all rotted and rusty. If you would like more close-up shot's of any aspect let me know. The dash is in really clean condition. The gauges look good, original radio comes on, the interior light works. Headlights work. Breaks have been bled-out but could use more, a couple new wheel cylinders on front have been replaced. It stops but could use a re-bleed. I have the headlight bezels in trunk, and the trunk area is great, not rusty very solid and dry. Underneath the car as far as shocks and springs are good, we took a round out of the front springs and dropped it to a nice look and stance. It didn't effect the ride negatively at all. Okay, now the NEEDS LIST. 1-STARTER BENDIX. It drags but starts the car. 2-NEEDS FLOORPANS, or metal bent and put in each side. The Rocker Panels are perfect, The Transmission Hump is great, Towboards are great, just the floorpans have rust, the rest of the body is really good.
