Here we have for sale a very nice 1989 JEEP Wrangler. This JEEP was a tub-off restoration. Everything on this JEEP is either new or rebuilt. It has a professionally built 4.2 inline 6cyl engine (258cid) with Webber carb upgrade. (Much improved idling. I have the orr Carter that will go with it incase you need it for inspection where you live. It has the lift pump block off plate and an electronic fuel pump. It has approx 10,000 miles and runs very good. It has an automatic transmission that has been completely rebuilt and shifts great. The transfer case has also been completely rebuilt. It has great condition tires, (31X10.50) the spare has never been on the ground. 4" body lift. It has a nice Kenwood system with amp under rear seat. Rims were stripped and redone nicely. Custom made rear speaker cabinets. It has a removable hard top with hard doors. The hard top even has a custom headliner that looks nice to help reduce road noise. I purchased this JEEP from a guy that did the restoration for his 16yo daughter and when it was complete she decided she wanted their new family Accord. I have had it for 3 years and have maybe put 5,000 miles on it. Otherwise it has been covered under my carport. Comes with nice JEEP water resistant cover. The cover has come unsewn at one of the seams and needs to be resown. It has factory A/C and I purchased and installed factory foglights w/covers, harness, and factory dash installed on/off switch Before the restoration the JEEP was run deep in some water which came in the bottom of the doors. It got stuck and had to be pulled out. The guy felt obligated to report it to his insurance company which in turn totaled it. Hense the salvage title. There is absolutely no sign since the restoration. Everything has been rebuilt or replaced down to the factory wiring harness/vacume lines. The frame was blasted and coated. It was repainted. Not the best job but it looks good and has good coverage. It has developed a small vavle cover leak and a slight exhaust leak. Sounds like it is at the exhaust donut? Other than that she has passed inspection and is ready to go. I had the muffler removed. Still has the Catalyst. Feel free to ask any questions or request any additional pics.
