A No Reserve 3 Day Auction - Sold To The Highest Bidder ! This is an 1963 1/2 Falcon True Sprint Custom Built Hotrod. Built & lived it's enitre life in Los Angeles and remain's it's original Black California Plate's. Doesn't get any better that. This Sprint was built to have a sleek look. Painted at Glow Auto Body in 2007. It was painted a custom Green and has had the Sprint / Falcon molding's deleted. Glass & body was taken apart, then stripped down when painted. The body was & is a great excellent example of a Southern California body. Beautiful undercarraige that remain's all original & solid floor's. Straight panels with a good, old body. The only patch panel that I can see visable is the lower driverside quarther. The trunk compartment was not painted over to show details. Overall, the body is great shape but does have minor flaw's. Such as minor paint bubbles on the corner of the passenger door, etc. Never Seen snow or salty road's. Front & rear bumper's were rechromed when painted as well as new door handle's. Rest of the chrome is original and has pitting. New weather stripping & gaskets was added once glass was installed back in. The door's open & shut promplty. The interior still remain's the original Buckets / Console in place. The interior is original & complete but keep in mind, it's unrestored. Still has the original Falcon Sprint steering wheel and glovebox Sprint badge. The interior need's some work & chrome need's some rechromeing to make it perfect in/out. Does have the original am radio in place but does not work. It does have a under the dash cd player that does work. Now, the drivetrain. Option's include 289ci ( factory 260 long gone ), power steering & Ford front Disc brakes. Has a good running 289ci v8 & Automatic transmission. Performance Eldelbrock Carburetor & intake set-up. Still running of the original generator, never changed over. New Ford Racing dress up kit under the hood was recently installed. The 4bbl carb was rebuilt a couple of week's ago. Has a Dual Flowmaster exhaust system that sound's really good. It was lowered about 2' to the rear using lowering blocks . Wheel's were special orded from "The Wheel Smith". New Vintage looking 47' Ford smoothie Rallye's gave it a custom look. Wrapped around with Brand new BFgoodRich tire's : P205/70R14 in the front & P225/70R14's in the rear. Another modifaction done was the factory automatic shifter was converted from the steering to the floor, somewhat like a mustang. Engine compartment is clean, not show. Overall, this Sprint can be driven as a daily driver. It's not restored fully but a clean looking Falcon. Not a show winner but grab's plenty attention at any show. I do not have any of the original molding's. Only thing that was found in the glovebox was the roofline sprint badge's. I have 3 out of the 4 original knock off wired wheel cover's. It did have the original RPM on the dash but it is missing. You can still see the hardware on the dash pad. Look inside the original fender's & you can see where they removed the Sprint badge's by tact welding. If you would need any other information, feel free to give me a call anytime ( 562 ) 612 -8416.
