This 2002 Chevrolet HD2500 4x4 Diesel Duramax is a very strong running truck. A very well maintaned truck that is in great shape. The exterior metallic green paint shines deep and nice. The overall condition of the paint is 8 out of 10. Free of any major defects, no dents or major scratches. It does have a ding the size of a nickel in the driver door see pi, it has a minor scrape on the lr wheel flare see pi, the loser rear door shows a little bubble of rust starting see pic, and the gas door has a small bubble of rust see pic. The lower rear box below the body line behind the rear tire has had some of the paint blasted off ( no rusted just flaked) it has been touched up and does not show in pictures. The rest of the truck is solid and free of any defects. Mechanically this truck runs and drives as it should. The diesel engine starts up and runs as it should ( it actually runs very very strong. It is quiet and free of any known problems. The turbo operates properly and is quiet. The allison transmission shifts smooth and properly and the tow haul works great. Gotta love the way it down shifts coming to a stop. It has brand new front rotors and pads and the rears are turned and has new rear pads. The tires are 90% of new and are in great shape and like new. No shakes or shimmys or noises, truck goes down the road straight and drives as it should. The only know problem is has a light trail of smoke at an idle, it does not do it all the time, and does not do it driving down the road. It does not burn excessive oil, and does not affect the performance of the truck. I am guessing it has an fuel injector that sticks occasionally. But it runs absolutely perfect and strong. (try to get it in a pic) The smoke will not show in a pic. It is not excessive. Allof the power options work as they should. And the ac blows ice cold. There are no lights on the dash and the 4x4 works as it should. It has a air ride ( bags) in the rear to compliment the rear suspension. And also has a gooseneck hole in the rear bed ( does not have the apperatus there see pic. The interior is great shape. There are no rips, tears or problems with the interior. The seats are clean and free of defects. The carpets are fluffy and clean, the driver area has a little discoloration and soil but its in great shape. All of the plastic is in good shape, the switches handles etc all in good shape. Overall this interior is in 8 or 9 out of 10 its in really nice shape for the miles and year. Overall this is a well maintaned truck that runs strong and looks great. If you are looking for a diesel at a small price this is the truck.
