This is a 1973 Jeep J4000 pickup. It doesn't have a key, so you use a toggle switch and push button starter which works fine. The body is moderately dented, but seems to be free of rust. The tires are old, but not at all unsafe and have good tread. The interior is in good condition except the dash top has a hole in it and is cracked. The engine is a 390 V8 and starts and runs great but does sounds like a lifter might be sticking , although it's never given me any trouble. I know the transmission leaks and coolant leaks. It's a 3-speed auto and shifts great except if low on fluid it takes longer to shift from 2nd to 3rd. This would make an excellent wood and/or hunting tuck or great project. The odometer shows 29,000, but I am unsure of how many times it has turned over. The best value I could find shows $2,200 in poor condition, which this one is not. I feel confident it's dependable, but am starting it at $500 so no one feels taken advantage of. Some parts alone if parted our are worth way more than that.
