Vehicle Detail
This is a 1965 (or 1966) Mustang convertible body shell complete. If you have a rusted out convertible, you can transfer your interior and drivetrain to this body shell and have a new car. All the hard work is done! Just paint it your favorite color, assemble and enjoy! Restored 65-66 convertibles bring $25k to $35k or more if done well. This body has new sheet metal everywhere that a convertible usually needs it, including: Front outer fenders – new Rear outer fenders – new Front inner fenders – new Rear inner fenders – new Engine compartment sheet metal – new Shock tower sheet metal – new All floor pans, torque tunnel, et al – new Inner and outer rocker panels – new Frame stiffener boxes – new Doors – original, reskinned Cowl and windshield frame – original, good Headlight trim – original – cleaned Headlight buckets – original – cleaned Front Hood – New Truck deck – original – good Front stone deflector – new Rear valance – okay Rear fender corner trim – original – cleaned My son and I started on this project and just ran out of time. The body was assembled by a professional body shop in Pennsylvania. We have other parts that will be sold separately. I have a clear 1965 title for the car, however, the inner front fender was replaced so there is no VIN stamped on the body. You can use our title or the title from a car you are restoring, and stamp the fender to match. This item is also for sale locally, and the eBay ad may be cancelled at any time without notice. Folks... I respond to all emails. If you sent a request for information and did not get a response, its because your email address is not working. I have responded to two different inquiries and had the emails bounce back.
