1974 MGB Roadster convertible. This is the very last of the original chrome bumper MGBs and is a California and New Mexico car with very little rust. Original door sills with no corrosion. Engine completely rebuilt in 2004-5. Less than 600 miles on engine since rebuild. Newhigh-quality pistons, rings, wrist pins, block bored, and 5-main crankshaft ground. New allow cylinder head with hardened valve seats for lead-free gasoline. New clutch. New floorplates welded in. New master brake cylinder, electronic ignition, and alternator. Radiator cleaned chemically (cored) and sealed. Original wire-spoke wheels. SU carbs rebuilt. New stainless-steel exhaust system. New roll bar. New (still in boxes) windshield, roof frame, and fabric roof. New carpet kit (installed), seat foam and supports, and seat covers (partly installed). New hood (unpainted). New (still in box) grille. Many, many other parts, including workshop manuals and several tools. Running condition. Needs minor bodywork, paint, and completion of installation of interior finishings, roof, and windshield. Ideal for hobbyist. Car was transported from 4-years of inside storage in NM to Seattle 9 months ago, and covered since. I'd love to finish the restoration after investing so much money and time, but I am not going to get around to it.
