68 Comet. This is a nice car. Title shows 38K miles. Odometer showing 39K, does appear to be origional. Was a 6 cyl, but now has a low mileage 77 Lincoln 460 with a 71 Mercury C6 transmission. Also has a 66 Fairlane 9" rear with 3.25 posi. Vehicle has new radiator, water pump, timing chain, distributor, cap, wires, plugs, battery, carpet, brake shoes, spring kits, wheel cyls, master cyl. Body is very straight. Best I can tell has had 1 complete repaint. Does have minor bubbles behing wheels on qtrs. Interior is very nice. Top of driver seat back sunbleached & split, otherwise almost mint. Rear seat belts still in wrapers. Has origional rubber floor mats under carpet that are in excellent condition. I installed carpet because I like it better than rubber. Vehicle drives as good as it looks. Air cleaner says 429 as I could not locate a decal that says Mercury 460. Has duals with flowmasters. Need to sell as have too many cars.
