I have for sale a nice military 4x4 CUCV M1008 6.2 diesel engine, dana 60 front end , 14 bolt rear end with locker and 456 gears. 400 turbo auto trans. The truck still has the 24v starter but the glow plugs are 12v, the battery box has been changed and moved to accept two regular 65 series batteries. They are about a year old. Battery cables were also replaced at that time. The truck has several dents and dings, pretty typical of all the military trucks. The floors, rocker panels, bed bottom, and frame are in good shape with only surface rust. I do have the brush guard , clevis holders, and another tail gate with the truck. Now for the bad, the shift pointer is broken, mufflers have been taken off and straight pipes installed in their place. Tires are worn and will need to be replaced before long and the truck has some rust in driver side bed, front and back of wheel, both cab corners, and front left fender, nothing real serious but it is there. I have driven this truck 50 to 100 miles at least 5 days a week for the last year with no problems. It starts great all the time cold weather or hot, glow plugs work great. The truck gets 16-18 mpg . I have had three of these trucks, and three of my friends have one. This truck seems to run a little better than all of them, maybe the straight pipes or lower mileage is the reason.
