Up for auction is my 1979 Corvette with T-tops, 350 engine and automatic transmission. It is Black with oyster interior. It is good condition and I drive it frequently. I'm selling it because my family has gotten to the size and age where I can't bring everyone when we take it for a spin. It is a numbers matching car and is all original except that the previous owner stuck in an after market console and shifter which I haven't replaced yet (I'm the third owner). Here's what I've replaced; new brakes, calipers, and master cylinder, new strut rods, new U-joints all around, new fuel pump and filter, new Edlebrock 600 cfm carb, red top dry cell battery, and a new water pump. Option wise it had the package including; telescoping/tilt steering column, cruise control, power locks, power windows, alloy wheels (new tires have less than 2k miles on them) and air conditioning . Note on the air conditioning; the compressor isn't hooked up although it spins freely and looks to be in great shape, I can't say that it works since I have never reconnected it. What still needs to be done to it; Paint, carpet, and seat covers. The car is in great mechanical condition and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. It does have some rear seal seapage. The T-tops are solid and don't leak, the wipers work, all of the vacum systems are in great shape including the headlight actuators. It's a great car and I really hate to sell it, but I can't enjoy it with the whole family anymore so it's got to go. It's a Florida car and doesn't have any rust on it.
