Had 10,000 miles on a rebuilt 350 when I bought it in 2001. I've put about 6000 miles on it since then. Most of the miles came from driving it to CA from NE. I've slowly been restoring it while I've been in grad school. Here's what I've done so far: These parts have less than 1000 miles on them: -edelbrock 4 barrel carb-alternator-HEI high performance distributor- spark plugs and wires-alternator and power steering belts-rebulit the exhaust with new gaskets and straps-rebuilt the drive shaft with new ujoints and carrier bearing-headlights-front blinkers-front parking lights-front and rear bumpers-grill and grill housing-headlight bezels-air filter-both front fenders-paint job and bedliner-header gaskets These parts have less than 5000 miles on them: -rebuilt rear end-brake booster and master cylinder-headers-thermostat-radiator and fuel hoses This is a great running truck. Very solid. She really needs new tires though. Other than that, I'd trust this truck to drive to alaska and back. I love this truck, and I've worked really hard to get her where she is.
