I am not a mechanic or a car dealer. I am an individual, selling this van, described below to the best of my ability, as is with no guarantee or warranty; no refunds or returns. Up for auction: 1993 Chevrolet Astro CS (passenger van) The exterior is in fairly good condition, with a few minor blemishes (most shown in pictures): yellow paint splatters down low behind front left tire; scuff mark and small dent by fuel door; front and rear bumpers both have some paint chipping/pitting; front passenger door has some paint missing on the upper portion behind the window; the front right fender has a light scuff mark right above the wheel. The interior is also in fairly good condition, considering the age of the vehicle. This has been a smoke-free van. The gray seats are all vinyl, and the floor and headliner are matching color carpet/cloth. The middle and back rows have seating for three each. The driver seat has a rip in the vinyl, towards the side. The cover for the storage compartment on the left side of the middle row is missing. There is a Sony CDX-GT200 CD/AM/FM stereo installed, with aux input: plays CD/MP/WMA discs, removable faceplate and remote. Owner manuals for both the stereo and the van are included. The latch on the rear doors is broken and needs replacing. The power lock for the sliding side door does not always respond, but works manually. Cruise control works most of the time, but occasionally shuts off on its own. Rear and side windows are tinted. Power windows (front only) work fine. The spare tire has a slow leak and may be low. The lights for the main instrument cluster don't always come on, which is only noticed when driving at night. We pulled the instrument cluster out to try and replace the bulb, but the problem persists intermittently. It seems to just be a loose connection. This operation also resulted in the gear indicator being just a bit off--the van shifts and drives just fine, it just shows the gear selection one half to one position off from where it actually is. Additionally, the air conditioning controls seem to have jiggled loose: the fan only blows when moved to the highest fan setting. Mechanically, the van is still going strong. It's a pleasure to drive and has served our family well for several years. From the original window sticker, options included are as follows: air conditioning (front & rear), tilt wheel and speed control, 8 person seating, reclining front seats with armrests, power doors and windows, deep tinted glass, rear heater, auxiliary lighting, rear axle 3.42 ratio, high back front bucket seats, GVW rating 5700 lbs. The exterior is listed as "LT TEAL METALLIC" and the interior as "GREY CUSTOM VINYL TRIM". Transmission is "4-SPD. AUTO. TRANS. W/OVERDRIVE". There is a running board on the passenger side.
