Vehicle Detail

The PC800 is a wonderful motorcycle for across town or longer hops across the states. It cruises quietly, reliably, smoothly and effortlessly, getting over 50mpg at highway speeds. If you aren't familiar with the bike, check it out on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Pacific_Coast. My husband has enjoyed his '95 GoldWing Aspencade, I've loved my PC800, we have both decided that sadly, it is time for us to sell both these beauties. This motorcycle has been well maintained, run on synthetic oil for the past 4 years since we've owned it, and it has not had any problems mechanically that we are aware of. Tires are good. It has a throttle lock device. This motorcycle has a 12 volt cigarette lighter outlet for accessories, and a clock on board. Because I am "vertically challenged" (short), we have dropped the front forks and had the seat totally reworked. You will be sitting on a very comfy gel pad. This works great not only for short hops but also for long rides as well, I find it more comfortable that being a passenger on my husband's Corbin seat on his GoldWing. It has the passenger backrest from the added trunk. You can see from the photos that this is a very pretty and flashy motorcycle. Mechanically this motorcycle is ready to go. We've had a few good rides this spring, our summer has been way too hot to enjoy the bike. Although not a new machine, it is in very good mechanical condition. It runs smoothly, the suspension works well, and the brakes are smooth. All the lights, controls and instruments work as they should. The engine does not use oil or smoke, there are no apparent leaks. Cosmetically, there are a number of scratches and dings you would expect from a bike of this age, we try to show them on the photos. The lock on the top trunk is missing, we secure it with a bungee cord and that works. The beautiful handpainted design certainly enhances the original Pearl Pacific White and Ocean Grey metallic paint scheme. Bike is sold as is. San Angelo is about four hours drive from Fort Worth or three and one half hours from Austin, or one hours flight from DFW. Bike shipping is acceptable, but buyer is responsible for all arrangements and additional costs. A PayPal deposit of $500 within 24 hours of the auction end is required. Remainder is preferred to be paid by cash or Money Order/Cashier's Check. On Aug-27-10 at 09:27:59 PDT, seller added the following information:This PC800 just had its license renewed with a 12 months Texas tag, also this week we had the oil changed with synthetic oil, had its inspection sticker renewed for 12 months, and had it checked out by our mechanic. It is ready to go. If you wish to see more photos of this bike, please email us with your email address and we'll send addition pics for your review so you are comfortable bidding.
