Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1959 Chevrolet Impala which was built and customized in the mid-80s. When I originally purchased the car, it was full-dress Kustom Kemp. It had turnpike cruiser skirts, whitewall tires, and Lancer hubcaps. I removed the skirts, dropped the whitewalls and Lancer hubcaps, and replaced the wheels and tires with ORIGINAL E-T magnesium wheels and 275/60/R15 Tigerpaws on the rear and 205/75/R14 Tigerpaws on the front. The following is a list of features: 348 v-8 with 4-barrel carbureator, less than 500 miles on overhaul and runs very strong Offenhouser finned aluminum valve covers Turbo 350 transmission with less than 500 miles on overhaul and shifts good and firm New aluminized exhaust system New door solinoid system (car has shaved handles) New trunk interior New spare tire Ice cold air conditioning All glass is good -- door glasses and quarter windows roll up and down with EASE All stainless is good Front and rear bumpers are driver quality -- could use a re-chrome Custom tube grill Mid-80s style roll and pleat interior in excellent condition, black carpet and perfect headliner. Dashboard and steering column is black AM/FM stereo Manual steering New manual brake master cylinder (all brakes have been checked and adjusted) Lake pipes are in excellent condition and are non-functional Front end is tight Rear axle has no noise The only sheet metal work that has been done is the left quarter panel has been replaced, and the floor bracing under the front bench seat has been patched Front fenders have been repaired around the turn signals Floor boards are original and in good condition Trunk floor is original and in good condition Right quarter panel is original Rocker panels have been repaired Mirror stainless underside of hood 1960 Chevrolet chromed cowl panel (next to wiper blades) Chromed instrument gauge housings New 275/60/R15 Tigerpaws on the rear, 205/75/R14 Tigerpaws on the front Original E-T magnesium wheels which have been completely restored (could not find E-T center caps so I used American Racing) Blue dot tail lights Everything functions like it should Turnpike cruiser skirts and Lancer hubcaps go with the sale if buyer wants them Exterior paint on a scale of 1-10 (with 1 being poor and 10 being high show quality), is an 8 Has clean Kansas title This vehicle is a mid-80s build. It is not perfect. This car still has some work to be done to it if you want it perfect. I have priced the car for its condition and for a quick sell. I have way too many 1959 Chevrolets. If you are interested, please e-mail me your phone number and I will call you. You must have a feedback rating of at least a "5" before you can bid. If you do not, e-mail me your phone number and I will call you and talk to you about your rating. (Too many scammers). Good luck bidding!
