Vehicle Detail

1956 Ford F100. Not even close to original. It is pretty much a one of a kind. It is a frame off restoration. Truck is almost completely done. It is built on a 1995 Chevy S10 frame. The entire frame, not just the front end. The front end is still S10. It has a triangulated four link rear end suspension. The rear end is out of a 1985 Lincoln with disc brakes. Four wheel disc brakes all new rotors and pads. Power brakes. Ford 302 engine, completely rebuilt with all new or machined parts. The cylinders were bored out just enough to make them all exactly the same. Which means new pistons and rings. New camshaft. Crankshaft was machined down and balanced. Heads were rebuilt with all new valves and springs. About $3000 invested just in the motor. Runs perfect. Edelbrock 600 carb. Mallory Chevy style distributor. Surpentene belt setup from a 1985 Lincoln. Large radiator from a 1978 Ford F250. Power steering from the1995 Chevy S10. Automatic, Overdrive transmission. Great gas mileage. Full airride suspension. For those who are not familiar with airride, this means the entire truck will raise and lower with the touch of a switch. It is equipped with two switches. One for the front, and one for the back. Each switch is a two-way rocker switch. Front switch makes the front end raise and lower. Back switch makes the rear raise and lower. Hood flip kit (Hood opens in reverse direction). 22 inch F5 wheels. New grill. New 3 inch oversized fiberglass rear fenders. New grill and front hood emblem. Tailgate and front roll pan are also new. Seam lines on cab are tack welded and filled. Smoked solid door window kit. New windshield and tinted rear window. Bench seat from a 1991 Chevy Silverado. Custom built kick panels with Pioneer 3-way 6 by 9 speakers installed. Pioneer detachable face AM/FM cd player. Rockford Fosgate 12 inch subwoofer in truck box from Best Buy behind the seat. Soundstream Rubicon 504 amplifier. Viper remote start keyless entry alarm installed. Seat belts also installed. This truck is NOT a "Trailer Queen." I drive it everywhere I take it. It has been in the Hot August Nights cruise and show event the past three years since it has been completed and on the road. I have drivin it to Reno each year. It runs great. Corvette Yellow paint and huge wheels tucked in nicely turns heads everywhere I go. Truck gets a lot of attention. It is a lot of fun to drive. I have a file folder FULL of receipts for everything I have ever bought for the truck. Receipts add up to just over $15,000 just in parts bought. There are thousands of hours of labor on top of that to build the truck. Everything on that truck was built by myself. Local pickup preferred. Otherwise, Buyer is to pay for and arrange all shipping. I am willing to drive or trailer the truck and meet part way for additional cost to be worked out after auction. Mileage on motor is estimated, not actual. Email me if you would like to see a specific picture not shown here. You can also include your phone number in the email if you wish to talk in more detail about the truck, or ask about specific pick up and delivery options. Please know what you are bidding on and do not wait for auction to close to decide that this is not the truck you want. You can make arrangements to come and see the truck before the auction closes. $1000 deposit via Paypal is due within 24 hours of auction closing or I will cancel the transaction and make a second chance offer. It is relisted because the last retard didn't know how Ebay works. He thought his bid was like an "offer" and he could come and cancel freely. On Aug-23-10 at 19:15:50 PDT, seller added the following information:The bed bottom is made up of 2 inch box tube framing. It is raised from original depth about 9 inches to allow for the S-10 frame in the rear. Also to allow the truck to sit as low as I wanted. This leaves about 9 inches of bed depth. It is sheeted with plywood for now. My plan was to eventually purchase brand new bed sides and bed front to rebuild the bed. It would have been built with either a steel bottom over the framing or standard bed boards custom mounted to the framing. Then a final coat of paint to the whole truck. On Aug-28-10 at 18:23:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Somebody requested a video of the truck. So I made a short video of what the airride suspension does. It is posted on YouTube. Here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QX930BpoJ7MOn Aug-28-10 at 21:34:15 PDT, seller added the following information:I am planning to drive the truck to Pleasonton, CA tomorrow morning for the Good Guys Car Show and swap meet. Let me know if you would like to meet me there or somewhere nearby to see the truck. You can also call me at 916-605-8069. Serious buyers only please. Thanks, Kent.
