1973 Triumph Tiger

For sale is a 1973 Triumph Tiger TR7v. It is in good running condition, and starts first kick. Only year with both the front disk brake, and right side shift. I have replaced most of the electrical system (NO LUCAS!!!!), with modern, solid state components. Ignition is a Sparx electronic module, and the selenium rectifier and zener diode have been replaced with an integrated module. The Carb is a modern Mikuni, and functions very well, but could benefit from a larger main jet. The Master cylinder is a modern Magura, giving the bike excellent stopping power. The engine smokes a little, but the compression is excellent (150 psi for both cylinders) which signifies that the smoke is from old valve stem seals. These are a fairly easy fix, or can be left alone. The bike is in fair cosmetic condition. Paint is original. There are some dents and dings, and a little rust on the inside of the tank. It is not a show bike, but it rides very well, and handles perfectly. It could easily be dressed up a little, maybe with some new paint on the tank, and made to look nice, or ride it as is.
