1976 Ford Ranger XLT shortbed. Very nice original truck. 360 v8 engine, automatic trans(has been rebuilt), power steering, power brakes, factory delay wipers, new fuel pump and power steering pump, flowmaster dual exhaust. Beautiful interior, seat has been recovered professionally by a local shop, replaced the dash pad with an original Ford dash pad, not a plastic cover, original carpet, door panels, headliner, and sunvisors in good condition. The truck is two tone Indigo Tan/Wimbildon White with tan interior. Paint is 95% original(it is thin in spots, but still very presentable), the grille shell and plastics are in beautiful shape. The chrome around the right rear tail light is bent, and there is a small dent in the chrome on the tail gate, but the rest of the chrome and trim are in good condition. Currently the truck has a set of rally type wheels from a 1989 ford truck, but I do have the original wheels and wheel covers that came on it. It even still has a bias ply tire in the spare tire holder. The truck does have a current NC inspection, and I do have a tag and insurance on it, I drive it to work every now and then, and to local cruise ins. The truck does have a few minor dings and scratches, after all, it is 36 years old, but like I said, it is still very presentable. I have the original owners manual, and the sales contract for this truck. I am the 3rd owner of this truck, the 1st owner had it until 2002, at which point it was sold to the 2nd owner who had it for the next 8 years. If I think of anything else, I will add it later. On Aug-09-10 at 20:51:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had several emails wanting pictures of the engine, the cab mounts, floorboards, and the bottom of the doors, so I have now added them. Also, I added a picture of the right side of the bed at the back. It is hard to see in the picture, but the paint has been touched up a bit and it is a little different shade of tan. I am trying to list anything that I can think of. The engine is very dusty, but not as dirty as you might think for a 36 year old truck, the right valve cover seems to be seeping a little, but I have not had to add any oil to the truck.
