This auction is for a 1949 Willys Jeep Station Wagon in the Original Condition. Its a 2WD, 4 cylinder, manual 3 speed on the column with overdrive. From whats left of the paint, it looks like it may have been burgundy originally and then repainted green at some point. The odometer reads 4,410 and only has 5 digits so there is no way to know if it has 104,410 miles, 204,410 miles, etc. The starter and dimmer switch for the headlights are both located on the floor. Lights and Gauges all work properly. It still runs good, though it smokes a bit when the engine is cold. Clutch and Breaks are in good shape. The tires are nearly new and it comes with a spare tire. All of the glass is in good condition except for a crack in the small window on the drivers side (refer to picture)- its just flat glass so it'd be a cheap fix. The roof has a few small holes and i have pictures showing them, but i could only put so many pictures on, so let me know if you'd like me to send you the pictures. Wipers are inoperable. The tailgate drops down like a pickup and the back window raises up as shown in the pictures. There are spots on the sides near the bottom and by the wheel wells where it has rusted through. This has the original wooden floor strips starting right behind the front seats running all the way to the back. This was purchased as a project, but i haven't found the time to work on it.
