1966 MUSTANG HARDTOP SURVIVOR/DRIVER I’m selling this car for a friend. He bought the car 15 years ago for his daughter to drive in the summer. That wore off after one summer! It’s had limited use and sits in his heated storage building. He wants it sold when he returns from vacation!!! HERE ARE THE DETAILS (I'll describe the car more critically than most, so there are no surprises, check my feedback comments) Rust Free North Carolina Car The car was sold new in Albermarle NC Orig window sticker Remained in Badin NC until 1994 Orig sheet metal, floors, trunk are excellent Passenger door inter structure lower front has a small rust repair Passenger door bottom door skin has light surface rust Engine compartment is pristine Non OEM glass hood Original Interior Seats are orig and amazing Dash pad, headliner, door panels are great orig Interior metal (dash, A pillars) are faded Some marks on rear interior side panels Carpet is orig, I’d replace it Console has vinyl trim pealing, some pits on chrome Non orig Mustang steering wheel and Pony AM/FM One repaint Orig Arcadian blue done while in NC Still a real nice 10 footer Has a few scuffs from bicycle handlebars Passenger door gap is tight and chipped some paint on leading edge A few very small blisters on rockers Trim and Glass No cracks, nice orig glass Window bright work is in great shape Bumpers are nice Door handles, Qtr trim and tail lights have some minor pits 119K Original miles Orig C code 289 2bbl Auto, AM, wire wheel covers Engine and transmission rebuilt The daughter expired the orig 289 It was replaced with a rebuilt 302 2bbl Trans was rebuilt at the same time as engine Less than 1000 miles on driveline New Exhaust, brakes, tires This is a ready to drive cruiser What’s Wrong? Not much! Fuel gauge and horn don’t work. Drivers door lock doesn't open with key Turn signal lever needs to be returned manually Everything else seems to be operating, speedo, gauges, heater fan, radio, interior lights She is now ready for a new owner to cruise or restore!!
