First off thanks for looking at my 1987 Corvette. I am trying to clear up room and space so unfortunately these are next on the list :( This auction is for both Corvettes together. First off is the 1987 Silver Convertible and the next is the Yellow Pace car Convertible (parts car, but could be fixed up) I do not drive the Silver Corvette enough to hold onto and I do not have the time to invest into the Pace Car edition either. Also my heart is truly set on an older one so that is where my future hopes are as of now. Here are the details on my Corvette: Clean carfax except for odometer was changed out. I'll be more than happy to give the winner the copy of it. The car runs and drives excellent. Feels very fast!! Transmission shifts great as well!! Air conditioning does not work, BUT all gauges work, along with heat, defroster, windows, seats, mirrors, cruise control, etc. The dash shows a number 36 code for the mass air but does not effect the way it drives at all. Still drives great! Headlights need a little help flipping over after all these years. Tires need to be replaced also, but drivable. The convertible top is in good shape, but the rear plastic window is all fogged up and a crack in it. Car body looks good from 20 feet. There is no major cracks in the fiberglass either. This past winter I replaced : alternator starter battery exhaust manifolds y pipe and catalytic converter oxygen sensors turbo mufflers and tips (sounds mean!) front and rear shocks all hoses, wires, spark plugs, distributor cap new oil change and filter main fuel line from the tank to the engine rotors and brake pads (front and rear) new brake fluid transmission fluid filter and lines serpentine belt and tensioner water pump and thermostat The odometer was changed in 1996 so exact mileage is unknown, except for what current odometer says. According to NYS DMV it had 57,500 miles in 1996, but was changed then and odometer then read at 26,842 in October of 1998. I bought the car in August of 2008 with the odometer stating 38,525. It now has 39,000. Also included with this car is my 1986 convertible pace car that is good for parts or restoration. It is a 4 speed manual with under 80,000 miles. I got this car for the wheels.
