True Mach 1 with marti report. Numbers matching 351 windsor engine and transmission. Date code for engine is 9C31 is march 31st 1969. Date code for transmission is D149 is April 14th 1969 Car ordered 4/30/1969 and built 5/20/1969 Also has the partial vins stamped on both engine and transmission. How often do you see a 4 speed with ac in a 69 mach 1. Very rare California built car. NO RUST This mach 1 was pretty much restored by the last owner and then left to sit in the shop.We just finished her up. The previous owner told us the engine was just rebuilt and only has a couple of thousand miles on it.Less than 5k.It was bored 30 over,crank turned,line bored,new pistons,bearings,valve job and a double roller timing chain was installed along with a performance cam. When we got the car it had been sitting in the shop for about 3 years so we had the engine pulled and inspected.We thought it would be a good idea to tear the engine down and do our own survey even though it was just rebuilt.Everything looked great and was just as the last owner had told us. Just broke in as they say. We had the gaskets replaced and put a new rear main performance seal in it. You can hear it run on the link below. The car has the Rare tach dash. Has the Original 1969 Shifter,linkage and console.Most of these shifters were replaced with a hurst and are hard to find. We have photo's of the car before paint and sandblasted the. Original color is winter blue and is painted that color with PPG top of the line and clear coat. We have the can of PPG winter blue with about a quart or a little less. Front disc brakes look good and have new lines. Rear drum brakes look good also. 9" rear with drum brakes. NEW PARTS: New Aluminum 3 row radiator. New Seats,padded dash,carpet with 4 inserts,sail panels,new door panels etc... New front springs and rear springs. New ball joints,tie rods. New lower control arms. New shocks all around. Rebuilt carb. New hoses. New belts New Power steering hoses. New gas tank and sending unit. New windshield. New heavy duty front sway bar. New motor mounts and frame mounts. New 2 1/4 Exhaust system. New Bumpers. New U joints. New stripe kit. New complete weather stripping kit. New door locks,trunk and ignition. New plug wires. We might have missed a few new parts.
