Condition: Car is very nice for a mostly original Fleetline. Previous owner had the paint and interior redone. No bubbling no rust showing. I have been under this car and floor pans are very solid. trunk had a flat pan put in at some time. rear tail panel had been replaced. work is pretty good. was done years ago and no paint bubbling yet. Motor was supposedly rebuilt some years ago I was told by previous owner. It runs strong, smooth and does not smoke. Transmission shifts very nicely. motor and tranny have all original parts. Has a new gas tank. Not dents on body, stainless is good, bumpers have silver paint on them (poor mans chrome) grill has one dent on it. All gauges except speedo work. It recently stopped. needs replaced or rebuilt. When I got it I lowered the back with 3" lowering blocks in rear and rebuilt leaf springs with new bushings, replaced shocks. and lowered the front with cut coils. and I put on the new FireStone bias ply whitewalls. I purchased the car from an old gentleman in Conroe Texas that owned a mechanic shop there. He remembers this car coming into town from California. he worked on the car several times in his mechanic shop before purchasing it from them and then doing the above work. he took great care of the car. Some of you might notice that their is two batteries under the hood. One is a 6 volt battery and one is a 12 volt. The car is still on a 6 volt system so that uses the 6V battery. and The previous owner isolated the starter on a 12 volt battery that makes for better starting. So that uses the 12V battery.
