I’m selling my 87 CRX si to gain some needed garage space, my loss your gain. This car gets exceptionally great gas mileage (38 + MPG)with many new parts. It has approx 212,000 miles and a clear title. The car was bought by a friend of mine and brought back from Texas about ten years ago, I purchased about four years back. I have had several CRX Si’s and this one by far is the fastest. It’s a 5 speed and shifts great, no problem spinning the tires through the gears if that’s your thing. Otherwise this would make a great commuter car for the MPG alone.I primarily used this as a commuter car from the quad cities to Chicago to Milwaukee and back for several years. It runs and drives fine, the engine fires right up with half a turn, it always had frequent oil changes and routine maintenance. This car has many more years and miles ahead so happy bidding. NEW PARTS dating back last 30,000 miles: Balls joints, CV joints, clutch….Last 5,000 miles: Alternator, Brakes cylinders/shoes and pads, all heating/cooling hoses, Thermostat, Timing belt, Water pump, Spark plugs/ Wires/ Cap/ Rotor, Battery, Front shocks, muffler, and Paint… Damaged/worn parts: the windshield is cracked, rear shocks are worn out, hood release sticks, drivers side carpet has a wear hole, dash board has a cracked corner. NOTE, AFTER POSTED the vehicle had an Accident or damage reported report pop up, according to my friend(previous owner) the lady he bought it from said she had the computer replaced after rain damaged it from leaving the sunroof open….neither myself nor the previous owner ever had any computer problems during the last ten years of ownership, I can only assume that she reported the computer to her insurance company and that why it was reported at 46,000 miles. (2) The lien issue that also popped up was from the original owner and has been taken care of over 20 years ago, so there no issue there either.
