I’ll do my best to answer with what I know but the finer details will be ironed out by him. Don't look for a CarFax report as the vehicle has never been titled. It’s kind of a strange deal. The car is brand new. He bought it in Florida last year with the intent of giving it to his daughter in Ohio. By the time he was ready to drive it up to Ohio she had already bought herself a car. He has had no idea what to do with it until now. The car has never been titled. He had it transported off the dealer lot and it has been sitting at his house in Florida ever since. He has the “Cerificate of Origin” on the car. Therefore you will get the full 100K Hyundai warranty. He needs to transfer ownership to you at a dealership to ensure you get the full warranty and that will be done after the sale in person. Apparently Hyundai only honor the warranty to the original buyer. Therefore that's the reason for transferring at a dealership. That is what I have been lead to believe. There's a $35 fee that the seller will cover. The car is very basic: 5spd manual and winding windows. The car does not have a radio but has what Hyundai call the “Radio Package” which basically means it is all pre-wired with speakers. You just install your own radio. Pretty simple. NO AIR CONDITIONING. Pick Up/Delivery: Car can be delivered from Florida anywhere in the 48 states although I’m pretty sure my friend would drive it to Alaska if needed. He will drive it to your home as long as you can guarantee to get him back to a major airport. He is very flexible, semi-retired and travels a lot so a drive is no problem for him. He says he’ll pay for the gas to drive the car to you as he won’t mind the road trip. If you want it delivered by carrier he’ll cover part of that with what gas would have cost. If you want to pick it up in Florida that’s no problem either. I’m sure you’ll have plenty of questions. Please be as specific as possible as I’m just acting as an intermediary and I don’t want things to get “lost in translation.”$200 deposit within 48 hours of auction close. On Aug-13-10 at 08:26:28 PDT, seller added the following information: 8/13/10 I had to add this as the car owner is getting conflicting reports on the warranty. He had been told it would be full warranty as the car was never titled. After some questions from potential buyers he had to do some checking. He is getting told that it won't be a full warranty. It will be something like a 60K warranty. Please do not purchase this with the assumption of getting the full 100k warranty. And please ask all questions before buying.
