2001 Volkswagen Jetta TDI - Strong Engine with regular maintenance. The timing belt was replaced at approximantely 190k miles. Body & paint are in good condition for a 9-year-old car. There are a few chips on the hood and a scratch on the drivers-side rear wheel well. Leather seats are in good condition, also considering age. Excellent fuel mileage (45+ MPG). FULL DISCLOSURE OF KNOWN DEFECTS: - The car WILL need transmission work. I'm not sure if the problem is electrical or mechanical, but the car hesitates to shift, especially when engine is cold. The problem is exponentially worse in cold weather. - The air compressor is non-functional, so A/C work will also be required. Buyer is responsible to arrange shipping and pick-up of the car. I will be happy to assist in any manner possible. There is no warranty; expressed, written, or implied; on any part or function of this vehicle. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of close of auction via paypal. Payment, in the form of cashier's check or cash in person, is expected within 7 days of close of auction.
