Vehicle Detail
******READ BEFORE BIDDING***** This vehicle has extensive hail damage this is why it is dirt cheap. This also has a race cam, with a huge lope and 1/2" lift, it is so big it rocks the whole car at idle, if you don't like a huge cam or have never heard one, please do not bid, this is not even close to a normal car. The engine is a Pontiac 400 bored .030 over. 600 cfm Holley (or you may have an 800 cfm Edelbrock carburetor upon request) Edelbrock torquer manifold, ceramic coated Hedman headers with full 3" exhaust, Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, Zoom Kevlar 600HP+ clutch, Taylor Race Wires w/ Dei heat shields, Accel super coil, 3.08 gears, posi, M&H racemaster DOT drag tires rear and BF Goodrich radials front both with less than 1,000 miles on them. Moroso 7qt oil pan and deep sump, Moroso windage tray. Authentic 15" Cragar wheels with reproduction center caps, KYB Front shocks are new, rear shocks are older Monroe air adjustable and they do NOT leak at all, even after sitting. The only mechanical work the car needs is minor: needs front alignment (just had upper ball joints installed), shift linkage needs adjusted, the oil pan is seeping around the gasket, and the radiator is seeping at the upper hose connection due to the large cam shaking the engine back and forth all the time (it never leaked much so I never replaced it) The previous owner wanted the car to look like a 1970 model, that is why the front clip is different, and there is a full 1970 stock decal kit with the car, it is still unused and in the box. I prefer the bird, there is also an extra silver bird for the hood included. Stock 14" honeycomb wheels come with the car, they are in very good shape and have good color except they are missing center caps and trim rings. There are two extra dash panels, one woodgrain and one silver, and a few stock gauges for parts. The carpet is basically unfaded, and the seats are nice but the front seats are cloth and the rear seats are stock vinyl with no tears. Front seats have a rip on each one down the side a few inches long. Someone had the bright idea to cut the emblem out of the dash above the glovebox (see pic) and they also put down a type of interior spray glue to hold an aftermarket dash cover on (it is not a carpet dash cover, it is a type of black velour) it looks nice so I never pulled it up to see what is under it except for the VIN at the corner. The dash gauges do not light up, I hardly ever drove the car but on a sunny day so I never investigated the problem. I have a huge folder of receipts for parts, and pictures of internals, all specs are documented for pistons/cam/timing/rods/crank etc.On Aug-11-10 at 10:00:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I didn't like not knowing for sure so I got under the car last night. The oil leak is not from the oil pan as I thought, it is from the transmission case. It leaves a couple spots on the ground when it sits after running. All the transmission seals are new, I still have the receipt and packaging for them, so I guess I got a bad one in the kit. If this affects anyone's bidding, I am sorry about the mistake of listing it as an oil pan leak earlier. Also, for those who were asking, this transmission is not a T-10 it is a Super T-10.
