Vehicle Detail

Runs and drives, but transmission shifts rough so it is likely due to have transmission rebuild or swapped. This is a rear drive classic GMC product, so transmissions and any other part for that matter should be quite cheap and available all over NJ/NY with plenty of donors. New fuel pump and new fuel injectors installed! I am listing her for a friend, Stanley, so instead of e-mailing me - you will be much better served if you call Stanley directly (718)966-1448. Again, please do not e-mail me but call Stanley as he is the owner. The truck is located in Hazlet, NJI know Stanley for ages and he is as good as my feedback here, so his word is as good as mine in this case. For full disclosure: I am not a car dealer or even a mechanic. I sell and install radiant floor heating and snow-melting heated driveways for a living. On the other hand, you are looking here at the listing of a 15 years old workhorse and despite looks - don't expect miracles no matter what anybody says. There is work to be done and this is not 'fill-er-up and drive into the sunset' situation. Please call to make arrangements to see this blue beauty as this will not be shipped by neither small or big blue and red FedEx or brown UPS boxes :-).I am writing this as an expression of my personal opinion that most people are lazy and will happily click away, write or even bid virtual money but when it comes to actually showing up - are not willing nor seem ready or able. I know if I start this auction from $1, there will be a spectacle to watch and usually not much else afterward even if the price gets into thousands, and that's why we are willing to give Ebay all that listing money and avoid on-line games. It was $86 bucks JUST TO LIST HERE and this is why Ebay is rich and most of us are not. At the end, after the sale Ebay will bite again and then the Paypal (an Ebay company) will chop one more time and that's why what you see here is not really a 'gimme few hundred and take 'er away' situation. We want to get rid of her but not for $650. Typically this works in a way that you will need to get to the vehicle in person, kick some tires, bargain a bit if you wish, then if the 'meeting of the minds occurs' - sign the paper, the owner needs to sign the paper both of you need to shake hands etc...., unless you are far-far away like in Kansas or somewhere in which case this might not be worth to bother. Yes, there are always possibilities of shipping her on the flatbet to Kansas or whatever and we will assist the best we can but the transaction needs to be completed on Ebay and paid for first and shipping prepaid before any shipping takes place. Please click on VEHICLE HISTORY/REPORT TAB above to see that this is really a collision free and very low mileage van with plenty of work-life left in her. ... in case you wonder, YES, she will very likely run on veggie oil as the emission system in these are quite tolerant to fish and french fries smell :-) (No, she never had any veggie oil in the tank, always NJ diesel) Additional notes and serious considerations:This is not an auction. The first person to offer what we are asking for or close to that number takes 'er and no more Ebay listing called 'Chevy cargo work truck G20 van 6.5 diesel fix parts run'This van is also listed locally, so it can dissaper from Ebay like 'poof' along with bids, questions, pictures and whatever else without notice or warning, so if you want 'er do not use the usual Ebay strategy to 'wait-to-the-last-minute-and-see', but call Stanley and simply take action. They don't make 'em anymore and we only have one. You can call Stanley, Stanley cannot call you unless you call first. Also, please don't bother with low ball offers of 'few-hundred-and-see-what-happen'. Stanley firmly wants well over a $1000 and she is likely worth it. In the first hours of this listing there were already two offers - including one pretty close to what it takes so chances are this will not last. Again, this is not really an auction in the sense of the 'last man wins the price' so waiting till the very end is not going to help much.
