I purchased this car in 2007. It had been stored in a shed by the female owner since 1984. At that time, I took it to a professional mechanic who replaced the radiator, heater core, belts, hoses, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, brake lines, dual exhaust, gas tank, points, plugs, wires, distribution cap, and sending unit. The work is outstanding. The car starts with ease and drives as new. Not a single ping or rattle. The engine is original and to my knowledge has never been apart. This year I had the car painted by a professional body shop in base and clear coat. This care was painted, not chopped up or disassembled. There was small rust above passenger rear wheel well and bottom of both front fenders. I purchased a new quarter panel and fenders but only used necessary section for patch. Car has original fenders and quarter panel. Trunk and floors are solid, never patched to my knowledge. The antenna is broken and wiper switch does not work. Windshield is new. Interior is all original. No rips or tears, very presentable. Not air conditioned. Head light doors open and close weak. Extremely minor paint bubble on hood ( See close up photo). This car is equipped with power steering and manual brakes! Drive this car anywhere! Over $20,000 invested!!!!
