AWESOME 2005 VOLVO S60 TYPE R 6-SPEED MANUAL Here’s what’s great about this car: This is the TYPE R all-out performance Volvo S60- an awesome performance sedan with all the day-to-day comfort and luxury features you could want. The color of this car is a beautiful dark-charcoal grey exterior with tan leather interior. Performance features include: 300 hp, all wheel drive, electronically-adjustable shocks (“Active Chassis”- settings: Comfort, Sport, Advanced), performance suspension, 6-speed manual transmission, Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 255/45 ZR 17 tires on special “R” alloy rims, fog lamps, Xenon gas-discharge headlamps and headlight washers. Luxury/Convenience features include: Leather seats, leather interior panels, steering wheel cover and shift knob, heated seats, 8-way power driver’s seat with 3 memory positions, driver/passenger individual climate controls, steering wheel-mounted stereo controls, 10-speaker (awesome!) single-CD stereo, daytime running lights, alarm, outside temperature readout, auto-dimming mirror, illuminated vanity mirrors, cabin filter, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, 12V rear seat outlet (and all the other usual stuff like power mirrors, cruise, etc). Rear side and center seats each fold forward individually for a very large trunk space. There is also a separate ski pass-through in the middle seat. Of course this car has all the best-in-class safety features that you would expect in a late-model Volvo. This is an original owner, low mileage (under 60,000 miles), no-accident car meticulously serviced at Princeton Volvo. We have all service records. Always garaged, no smoking, immaculate interior, excellent exterior, overall VERY CLEAN condition car. VIN number YV1RH527452446780. Michelin Pilot Sport Season tires have lots of life with approximately 17,000 miles of wear since replacement. We get about 28 mpg on the highway in this 300 hp car. OUR RESERVE PRICE IS $11,400 FOR THIS CAR. We will not go lower at this time so please don’t ask. This is a spectacular car for the right buyer (is that you?) at this price- possibly one of the best in the country. We are willing to wait this out until we find the right buyer because we know that this is a great price (check Kelly Blue Book- average privately sold price is about $14,500 on this car). Here are the negatives: The exterior has the usual small amount of road rash and very minor scratches. There are two very slight “dings” in the rear passenger-side door. The driver-side headlamp has a small crack caused by a pebble (see photo). The cost of replacing this headlamp assembly through a dealer is about $1400- yes I said $1400! It is safe and barely visible- leave it alone or find a replacement in a junkyard at a reasonable price. The left front fender has a scrape (see photo) that happened while the car was parked. The car has no sunroof (that makes it lighter, stiffer and a bit faster!). I am a straight-shooter, and you can bid with confidence. I have bought and sold many times over the years (including a couple of cars) and I have never received any real negative feedback whatsoever. (I once received “negative feedback” for not posting feedback on an item that I bought, but Ebay does not allow that kind of nonsense any longer.) I will require cash or a bank cashier’s check at pickup. I require a deposit of $1,000 by cash, bank cashier’s check, or Paypal within 48 hours after the auction closes. You must pay the balance and pick up the car within 7 days after the auction closes. The Volvo must be picked up in person in Pennington, NJ. You will have to bring plates to drive it home.
