NO RESERVE!!! This car will sell. 1949 Ford Business Coupe. This is the first year for this body style and is a true business coupe with no back seat. This is an original Texas car and was recently found in a garage. The body of the car is very nice there are a couple of small dents but no major problems or rust in the body. The floors are in good shape except for the passenger front floor has rust ( see picture ) I personally inspected this area and the rust is in the floor to the rocker but did not get in the rocker. both rockers are ver nice as is the frame. The interior is all stock and the seat will need redone. The back panels were made of cardboard and have been disposed of. The engine has received a full tune up and runs well. The entire brake system is new and brakes are great. The transmission and clutch are good but it wants to fall from first gear. I am sure this is an adjustment needed. Most of the stainless trim is in the trunk. The bottom line is this is a nice all steel no patch paneled 1949 Ford Business Coupe. It runs and drives and is ready for restoration or hot rod.
