Mercedes-Benz 300TD wagon runs on diesel, bio-diesel or WVO This is a 1980 Mercedes 300TD. The wagon has 175k miles on it. INTERIOR The carpet is clean and in good shape. The front seats are in great shape and nice and firm. The rear seat is in great shape as well. All the carpet looks great. Overall, I would rate the interior a solid 8/10. EXTERIOR The exterior is in good shape. Only a couple of small rock chips. The driver side door was replaced with a yellow door, then painted. All the windows work. The paint is pretty decent with some oxidation on the roof. See the photos. Tires are near new. MECHANICAL- The engine is in excelent shape. It is the non-turbo engine, but runs very well and quick for the non-turbo version. Transmission is in good shape. Good radiator. Shocks are tight and almost new. The hydrolic auto level rear suspention works and doesn't leak. That is a couple thousand dollar repair that has been taken care of. New brake pads. New fuel/oil filters. A/C compressor clicks on and the fan works, but the control panel needs to be looked at. That will be checked out before the car is picked up. Currently there is no gurranty that the A/C works, but my guess is that it will. VEGGIE OIL/BIO DIESEL: I run my other wagon veggie oil. Mine has injector line heaters and in a warm climate shouldn't need much else. I can put line heaters on this for $250 if you like. I would also be happy to discuss WVO and dispell some of the 'forum mentality' myths and facts as well. WARRANTY : Owner will guaranty the drive train on the car for 30 days after the purchase. (this doesn't mean He'll pay for your mechanic’s repairs. It means he will fix or replace anything that goes bad. I know this doesn't help much if you are far away but it’s more than most will do. I just want you to know I have confidence that the car will run well for you.)
