Vehicle Detail
Hello there fellow eBayers’ and Suzuki Samurai fans! Today I am listing a 1986 Suzuki Samurai Tintop. Suzuki only made these tintops in 1986 and 1987, so they are kind of rare. They kind of look like a baby Hummer if you squint real hard. OK, really, really hard. It is bare bones. No A/C, no power steering, no radio. It is just basic transportation. These make great off-roaders. They go just about anywhere since they are so small and light. It would also be great for a hunting vehicle, or a runabout up at your cabin. It has some issues, mainly it is not that pretty and it has some rust. I have done my best to show the worst of it in the photos. It starts right up, doesn’t smoke or knock, the motor is really soli d. Clutch feels good to. The rear end makes a whining noise, not sure if it is a bearing or low on fluid, I have only used it off road so it really wasn’t an issue. The tires I would say have about 70% tread left or so, so you should be good for quite awhile. It has the stock 1.3 8-valve 4-cylinder engine in it, and it runs like a top. You will get 22mpg+ with this maybe better, depending on how you drive it. It also has a smooth shifting 5-speed manual transmission in it. The paint on the vehicle is really pretty good, it is Krylon OD green. There are a few scratches and scuffs in it here and there as well as a few dents. It really isn’t an on road type of vehicle, but I suppose with a front bumper and some turn signals it could be. The odometer shows 30,500 miles, I am assuming it is 130, 500. The interior is in rough shape. The seats are pretty torn up, but still usable if you threw some seat covers on them. The windshield has a couple of chips in it, but not really in the drivers line of sight. I have a clear Illinois title in hand for the winning bidder. The vehicle is located in Riverton, IL 62561 and must be picked up here unless other arrangements are made PRIOR to the end of the auction. I am willing to help with your transportation company, but all arrangements and fees are your responsibility. I am also willing to deliver the Tracker up to 250 miles for a $1.25 per mile. I require a $250 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction. I will accept PayPal for the deposit, but the balance must be paid for in cash (in person only). I require the balance to be paid within 7 days of the end of the auction or when you come pick it up, which ever comes first. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, and I will do my best to answer them for you. Look at my feedback; I think you will see that I am an honest eBayer with a great track record here on eBay. Someone will invariably ask, “Can I drive this home?” my answer is that I you can do whatever you want, but personally I wouldn’t drive it real far with the rear end noise, and not having driven on the road myself, but it is yours, and depending on how adventurous you are, you may want to. I would bring a trailer and get it home safely check it out thoroughly, then take it on the road. I have a fair reserve set, and I won’t reveal it, so please don’t ask, I will not respond. Bid what it is worth to you, and hopefully you will be the winning bidder. Thanks for looking at my ad, and good luck in the auction!
