This SL is in great shape all around. It runs great, mechanically seems to be just in great working order. The leather seats are fantastic, pretty much no marks - same goes for the carpeting - all original. This car has worshipped the sun a little too much in its years, and like all old-timers, without sunscreen the color starts to fade, the rubber shows its wear. The hood, front quarter panels and trunk have been professionally painted to restore its original beauty - there has been no accidents, no body work, at all that can be detected. The photos show as much as possible if there is anything wrong, as a 22 year old car that has sat in the sun for too long there is bound to be something! However, they are minor cosmetic issues that a minor facelift can't fix - overall it is in great shape. The speedometer and guages seem to work fine.
