Vehicle Detail

2005 VW PASSAT (DIESEL): We bought this car new and put all the miles on ourselves. The car has been serviced almost exclusively by the selling dealer. It last had the oil changed at 77000 miles, so it is due. There are no problems with this car. New tires were put on in 2009. The color is called stonehenge, a little green/gray. This car is getting about 36.4 mpg mixed mileage. Straight hwy mpg goes up to about 45-48 mpg. In 2007, I believe, the car was in an accident in which the passenger side was involved. The front door and back door were both replaced along with the "B" pillar. I was extremely satisfied with the repairs. As you can see from the pictures there is no evidence of the accident. All of the door gaps are perfect along with everything else in and on the car. There are a couple of long scratches on the rear bumper when it was used to push my old truck that had died back to the driveway. I hope they can be seen on the back picture but I have posted my allotted 24 pictures. This car does have the homelink system to operate the garage door and other remote functions. The button #1 still works but is not right in the housing. I do not know how to say it except that it functions properly but looks off. If there is not a pic in the grouping I took one and would email if someone wanted to see. The seats are not power, but, manual slide, the only non-power function on the car. Thanks for looking. That is all I can think of about this car, it will be an enjoyable car for someone else. Payment: $500.00 deposit through paypal within 48 hours. The balance to be paid upon pickup of the passat. This is to be done within 7 days of close of auction. Also, please contact me on when and how you are going to pay. Check and bank checks are subject to a 10 wait to clear period. I know nothing about shipping but it is your responsibility to pay for and obtain. This car does have the homelink system to operate the garage door and other remote functions. On Jul-17-10 at 11:59:52 PDT, seller added the following information:As of this date we do have an outstanding loan on the car. This does prevent the title from being release at the time of sale. There is no easy way to get the loan payoff papers easily. There is a $15.00 fedex overnight fee then another $15.00 return overnight fee, in between there is a 2-3 day processing delay. This is to be paid by the buyer if you chose this route. After I receive a "Title lien statement" from the creditor I just have to go to our clerk's office to get the title released. They are open on the weekdays, usually until 4:00 PM. Unfortunately, it is going to take time to get a title without a lien against it, sorry. The car is listed locally, and reserve the right to end this suction early. The is no warranty implied or otherwise. The car is sold as is. I checked the owner's manual, service section, and it suggests the timing belt be changed around 90,000 miles.
