Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 89 Milano 3.0 V6 Verde that, for lack of a better description I'll call an unfinished track day car. It is unfinished because I now have Cervical disc disease and lung cancer and can no longer work on it. I call it a track car because most of the accessories that are NOT needed for basic street use are removed. When I bought the car it was going to be used primarily in colder months but not in ice, snow and salt. The car has close to 160k miles on the odo. It spent most of it's life in So Cal so is virtually a rust free car. It has one rust place on the whole car and that is the spare tire well as the antenna was missing and water ran down there into the spare well. It is in dire need of paint but has no surface rust or Bondo anywhere in the car. The interior was virtually destroyed by the sun with some help from some dogs so I replaced it with an above average but not perfect Recaro interior and the headliner has just started to sag on it. The glass is all good. The car went from SoCal to ALA for a short time, then I brought it about 1 1/2 years ago. It was used as a daily driver when I got it but I've never driven it other than around the block a few times at night, but it does seem to run good and starts right up and idles fine even after sitting for months. I got bills with the car showing head gaskets replaced about 10k miles ago and it has a recent exhaust system. Here is a list of accessories it DOES have in working order. All exterior lights and flashers, horn, wipers, heater/defroster (one speed) heated seat, heated rear window, power front windows, lighter socket. The car has a Kenwood Sirius radio/CD player which I believe I have all wired and ready to install but have not plugged it in and checked it yet. I have also not gotten around to making all interior lights functional yet. All gauges work and dash lights work. The LF power window works intermittently. I have spare one that goes with the car. The ign switch is gone. I have replaced it with a on/off safety switch and a AUTO-ROD (model 8000) rocker panel and relay board. The panel is functional but not permanently mounted yet. It operates Ign, start, heated seat, heated rear glass, wipers low and high speed, 4 ways, all other lights are run by stock stalk. All other stock switches are gone. I think the car has 30 lb less wire and relays than the stock one. Items removed; AC, PS, ABS, rear p/windows, p/mirrors Items added or replaced: 350mm Volante leather wheel rebuilt brake master cyl rebuilt clutch master cyl clutch slave cyl steel braided line Serpent autosport Type 4 16x7 wheels (new) 205/45-16 General UHP tires (new) Bilstein shocks (new) trunk mounted battery Euro and stock grille many polyurethane front bushings Spare parts: Verde transaxel w/repacked throw-out brg Red rear sport springs 32 mm front sway bar Whatever is not done on the car will not get done before the car is sold. I have no kids or grandkids that, mechanically speaking, could find the open end of a paper bag, and with my health the car has become a potential burden on my wife. So It will be sold as-is where-is. Any additional pics or info needed just e-mail and I will get you what I can keeping in mind my mobility is much impaired. The $2500 Buy-it-now price is basically the price of the new parts that are on it. Did I mention this car has NO BONDO, NO CRASH DAMAGE, and has been in a heated garage.
