1989 Chrysler New Yorker Landau 42,000 Miles 98 1/2 % off original cost: $24,567 Must Sell!! Starting price $368.51 This was a one owner little old lady car with 28,000 miles when I bought it 5 years ago. I used it as a second car until a bearing went. Now it needs either a new crank or another engine. Unfortunately the house where I have it stored is being sold and I have to move it pronto. I am also restoring a Riley and can't afford to fix both. The body is excellent and rust free. The color is black cherry. There are some surface scratches and a few dings but the paint is still mostly good and needs only polishing. The car needs a chrome or stainless molding over the passenger side front wheel and a chrome side marker molding as well. The grill is gone; they run $75 - $100. The vinyl top is good and so is the stitching. The leather back seat is like new; the front is good with just a few scuff marks on the drivers side. The door's interior panels are nice and clean, as is the dashboard. The headlining sags. I replaced the water-pump, headlight door motor and the alternator as well, I believe. The carpets and trunk interior are in good condition (pictures to follow). The transmission is fine and works great and the suspension is solid - the car drove like a 3 or 4 year old vehicle. The car is loaded - see invoice (picture to follow). I have the invoice in original vinyl wallet and "Crystal" key. This would make an excellent entry level car, as it will qualify for antique car plates (at least here in New Jersey), when it is 25 years old. A very solid car and worthy of getting on the road. They're many miles left in the old girl. The car was garage kept from 1989 - 2005. I have a good NJ title. I have over $3,000 in this car, but, as I said, it needs an engine and a few chrome bits.
