'55 Nomad project car: Great for street rod or 2 dr wagon to Nomad conversion, could be restored. This car is rusty, but fairly complete. Originally a V8/3spd stick car in Gypsy Red/Shoreline Beige w/matching interior and rare factory EZI glass. It sat outside under a tarp for years and that did not do it any good. There is NO motor or transmission. Not sure if rear end is original. The original steering column remains sans shifter lever, original clutch pedal still there. All the shifting linkages and rods are gone. All the Nomad pot metal side mouldings and eyebrows are missing. Both bumpers are missing. It appears all other Nomad trim is there, interior and exterior. Curved side glass (EZI) looks good, no cracks. Doors appear to be original to the car. The Drivers door is fair to good, Passenger door fair, I think they both can be saved. Tailgate is rusty, but again I think it can be saved. The liftgate frame is pitted but appears to be straight, there are no cracks in the liftgate glass. The roof has no dents that I can find, but some pitting and minor rot near the dripedges and only in spots...see the pics. The cowl is solid. The floors are rough. There is rot in the frame under the rear seat area and in the arches over the rear axle, it would be easier to replace it with a better one. Hood is fair, but has hood pin holes. The fenders are restorable with patch panels, but the quarters are rough. Four good (no rust) 14" x 7" 1975 Camaro rallye wheels go with the car. The car does roll and steer, but has no brakes and is not safe to flat tow. It will need to be trailered. This car is sold as is where is, no warranty expressed or implied.
