Newly redone as an early 1960's nastalgia show/drag car. Started out as a So Cal original low mile, show condition Del Ray 210 then had a complete body off restoration and finished as a early 1960's tribute nostalgic drag/street car. Radio/heater/rear exhaust delete w/proper plates. Everything is new and has not been to the track yet. Runs/stops and drives very well. Lights and signals are new. Has less than 500 miles on her since completion. MUCH $$ has been spent on this one of a kind restoration! This is a beautiful body with zero rust or body work since the car was new! 1957 Chevrolet in rare Del Ray trim -- (Note: 1/2 less Del Rays were produced in 1957 than convertibles) Original early 60's Corvette 327 now a 364 cu-in stroker engine built by Famed Ed Hale Racing Engines in San Diego (achieved with an offset-ground 350 crank as was common in the late '60s) Fully ported Camel Hump heads, Isky hydraulic cam and kit. 4-71 GMC blower with chromed housing with blower-modified Holley 4150 carb. Approx. 450+ HP now under driven, should have 650-700+ HP if overdriven with the pulleys switched w/racing fuel. Hand painted Mighty Mouse/Rat Fink 60's air cleaner. Is a street legal drag car and can be driven around town and to shows but she's a handful if unleashed! Can pull fronts off the road now. VERY RARE B&M level 2 race modified at the B&M factory, Hydro-stick 4-speed automatic transmission (obtained from the original B&M dealer in San Diego, from his early 60's demo car, (a Chevy Nomad) Been crated in almost new condition since the mid 60's. Original late 50's Hydro-stick manual and 1959 Hotrod magazine with B&M Hydro-stick article included in sale.If you have not driven a Hydro-stick trans your missing out. Can be driven as an automatic or shifted manually as a 4 spd. Rare fully rebuilt 1957, smooth case, Ford 9-inch rear end with traction lock, with new 4.33.1 gears, axles and drums redrilled for Chevy 5 on 4-3/4" bolt circle. Station wagon 6-leaf rear springs (very unusual) Real NOS Traction Master traction bars. Has rear airbags that can be used if a street ride is desired. Real '60's NOS Fiberglass front fenders, hood (with hand built Thunderbolt style hood bulge) and front bumper. (doors and inner fender panels may be available) Lexan rear 1/4 windows with glass in doors. Rebuilt front end, steering and brakes. New exhaust, racing battery in trunk, Aluminum Mustang radiator. 1958 Ford aluminum grille with 60's style bar grille included also. All new black vinyl w/silver piping interior including headliner and custom full length carpet, etc. 60's era racing lap belts. Rear seat delete. No roll bar, so if buyer desires more of a street car a rear seat can easily added. American Racing aluminum Torq thrust and deep steelies wheels The new tires are actual NOS (from the '60s) 8-inch cheater slicks on specially offset powder coated steel wheels. New black paint with silver to blue flames with hand pinstripping. Paint is nice but could use some more color sanding on edges. Still needs a few minor things for shows ie. speedo/gas gauges hook up and trunk lock, driver door lock and a few pieces of chrome that has been deleted for racing.
